If you are in construction, or if you are having work done around your home, please be aware of possible negative impacts on our lake (and other waterways). Construction activity is an opportunity for excessive nutrients, sediment, concrete washout, paint, fuel, oil, wastewater, and solvents to leach into our lake. Construction around the lake provides these contaminants direct access to the lake. Contaminants from construction elsewhere in the watershed enter into storm water systems which eventually discharge into our lake.
